Billy Roy Svach, 54, of Hempstead,
Texas passed away Thursday, April
14, 2005 in Houston, Texas.  He was
born April 4, 1951 to Edward and
Daisy Mitcham Svach.  He is survived
by his wife Brenda Sue Martin Svach,
Mother Daisy Mitcham Svach and sons
Shane Svach and Billy Roy Svach, Jr.

Carol Sue Thomas, 60, loving wife,
mother and grandmother, passed
away Thursday, May 19, 2005 at her
home in Hempstead, Texas.  She was
born August 15, 1944 in East St.
Louis, Illinois to George and Muriel
Solomon.  She is survived by her
husband John Robert Thomas;
daughter Suzanne Marie Jones and
her husband, Chris; son Jeffrey Scott
Zakrzewski; sister Barbara Jean
Wheeler; and grandchildren Abigail
Renee Jones and Casey Matthew
Jones.  Visitation will be from 2 to 6:00
P.M. Sunday, May 22, 2005 at

Russell G Bacon, 58, of Hempstead,
Texas passed away Monday, June 27,
2005 at his home.  He was born June
14, 1947 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
to Floyd G Bacon and Wanda Lee
Claxton Bacon.  He was a loving, caring,
considerate, and encouraging Dad and
Husband as well as a proud Papa.  He
retired from the US Army after twenty
years and became employed by the
Waller County Sheriff’s Department,
where he  worked for eighteen years.  
He is retiring now to be with his Lord,
Jesus Christ.  He is survived by his wife
Jane, daughters Kelly Blacklock,
Stephanie Bacon, and Tanya Bacon,
and sons James Burrell and Liberty
Burrell, and eight grandchildren.  We’ll
miss you now but will see you again in
Heaven!  Memorial services were held

Suzzay Tomczak Brzymialkiewicz, 84,
of Hempstead, Texas passed away
Wednesday, October 19, 2005.  She
was born February 21, 1921 to
Anthony and Rosalie Tomczak in
Chappell Hill, Texas.  She is survived
by son Edmond Brzymialkiewicz,
daughters Bernice B. Harlan and Rosie
Ann Brzymialkiewicz, 3 grandchildren,
4 great-grandchildren, and 3 step
great-grandchildren.  Visitation:  
Friday, October 21, 2005 from 5-7 p.
m. at McWilliams Funeral Home,
Hempstead with a rosary at 7 p.m.  
Funeral mass:  Saturday, October 22,
2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul
Catholic Church in Bellville, Texas.  
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery
in Hempstead.  In lieu of flowers, the
family wishes memorials be sent to the
St. Katharine Drexel Church Building
Fund in Hempstead.
Marjorie M. Atsalis, 70, of Hempstead,
Texas passed away Friday, December
02, 2005 at her home.  She was born
in Steubenville, Ohio on January 6,
1935.  She is survived by sons John
Atsalis, Daniel Atsalis, and Mike
Atsalis; daughter Cathy Clendening,
brother Walter Freese, sister Judy
Croce, six grandchildren and 1
great-grandchild.  Arrangements were

Olene Salyer, 98, died on Sunday
October 30, 2005 at Monument Hill
Nursing Home in LaGrange, Texas.  
She was born on December 23, 1906
in Montgomery County, Texas.  She
was a member of Second Baptist
Church in LaGrange.  Survivors
include three daughters:  marry
Weinaug and husband Ray of Acworth,
Georgia, Elois mach and husband
Jacob (Buddy), and Gracie Albright
and huband Lonnie of LaGrange,
twelve grandchildren and one sister.  
She is preceded in death by her
husband W.J. and son John, six
brothers and two sisters.

1945 in Houston, Texas to Lee Macy

She is survived by her mother Myrtle
